Sriracha Lime Mayo is a truly gorgeous combination of flavours! Such an easy homemade dip to knock up that works with literally anything! – Hungry now? Jump to Recipe
And that’s exactly the beauty of this recipe, it captures everything a homemade dip should be. Quick and easy, using minimal ingredients and tastes delicious! And involves mayo.. Cause mayo is life…
I can’t remember where I was when I first had sriracha mayo, but it was love at first bite. So smooth and creamy, yet nice and tangy. Ugh. So good.
From there I made it my mission to make a homemade version. Like how hard can it be? Just mayo and sriracha surely?
And yes, at it’s roots that’s exactly how you can make it. But as I was playing around with the recipe and I chucked in a dash of lime. And then some more. And then even more. Until half a lime was in the darn thing and let me tell you, adding lime to a sriracha mayo takes it to new heights. It’s official.
It just enhances that zingy taste and gives a pop to the dip.
So from just mayo and sriracha, things got a little more intense. All in all here’s the ingredient list for sriracha lime mayo:
- Mayo (full fat)
- Sriracha
- Fresh Lime Juice
- Garlic
- Salt & Pepper
- Coriander/Cilantro (optional)
It really is as simple as combining in a bowl and refrigerating until needed!
And by ‘bowl’ sometimes I mean a DIY bowl made from your lime, plonked in the centre of a Blooming Onion. Yup, that’s totally a thing.
Sriracha lime mayo is perfect to knock up when you’ve got people over. Quick, easy and no fuss.

All in all sriracha, lime and mayo is a combo made in heaven. An easy homemade dip that’s just waiting to be dunked!
