These one pot pasta recipes are easy, seriously delicious and perfect for any night of the week. Minimal washing up, maximum flavour – the kind of dinners you’ll actually make.

If you’ve been around here for a while, you’ll know I am very pro one pot pasta. So much so, I wanted to show off my very best pasta recipes that can be made in one pot. ‘WHY?’ I hear you cry! Well, if I haven’t sold you yet, here’s my reasoning for making one pot pastas:
- Flavour – the pasta will suck in all the flavour of the sauce it’s cooking in.
- Starch – as the pasta cooks, it’ll release starch into the sauce. This helps thicken the sauce and leaves it with a gorgeous, glossy finish.
- Convenience – less washing up and fewer pots taking up room on the stove.
Here you’ll be sure to find your next favourite dinner, with my very best collection of one pot pastas. Some spicy, some cheesy, some creamy and others meaty. One thing they’ve all got in common is that they’re easy, packed to the brim with flavour, and they all use simple, store-bought ingredients.
If you’re after more risotto-style one pot pastas, check out my Best Ever Orzo Recipes, the majority of which use the one pot method.
Alrighty, let’s tuck into the full roundup shall we?!
1. Creamy Beef Pasta

One of my most popular recipes, and for good reason! For how simple the short list of ingredients is, I think you’ll be shocked at just how delicious this pasta is.
2. Sausage and Mushroom Pasta

Sausage and mushrooms are a truly underrated combination. Throw in a creamy white wine spinach sauce, and you’ve got a completely irresistible dinner on your hands.
3. Creamy Mac and Cheese

If you’ve never made mac and cheese in one pot, your life is about to change for the better. The starch from the pasta thickens the sauce and allows the cheese to blend into the liquids – no flour needed!

The tortellini cooks in just minutes in this rich, spicy tomato sauce. No boiling required!
5. Tomato and Spinach Pasta

A rich, creamy sauce with plump spinach and juicy sun dried tomatoes. This is one of those easy dinners you’ll never stop making.
6. Taco Spaghetti

Something a little different – all the delicious flavours of classic beef tacos, in a cheesy, spicy sauce. And you guessed it, the spaghetti is cooked right in the pot with everything.

Although some of these recipes are in your “Comfy” book, it’d be good to see a volume 2 with more recipes like these.
